Inexpensive walkie-talkie with a complete set. Transmits and receives correctly. Can be used as an FM receiver. On sale there are a bunch of accessories for it, of particular importance among which are an extended battery and adapters for AA and AAA batteries. 6 AAA batteries at 900 mAh give a capacity of 5400 mAh, which is much more than the declared capacity of the bundled battery of 1800 mAh. For simple practical purposes, its functionality is rather redundant (ordinary walkie-talkies are enough for this), but you can listen to what they say on the air over a fairly wide range of frequencies. You can easily find range tests on youtube. Of the minuses: - the volume knob turns quite easily by itself, being in a pocket or bag - uncomfortable earpiece - in the channel mode, the frequencies are stitched according to an incomprehensible principle. Instead of the standard PMR and LPD bands, which one would reasonably expect, a set of 20 frequencies has been programmed, and it is not clear on what basis. I will fix this with a flashing cable. For your money, that's it. If you want better performance, water resistance and other goodies, you will have to pay several times more for more branded devices.
