Picture #1 is the 1st set i ever did. Took me 5 hours but i was so proud of myself lol. The video was a week later. took me 2 hours. I redid them because some had broke. This second set has been on for 2 weeks and going strong still look soooo good. This is what i learned that might help. I’ve never used poly gel before so I’m no Professional but maybe this can help someone.1. Before even buying or attempting to use this. Buy an electric drill, saves SOO much time.2. When applying poly gel to nail, use a good amount. Like a Q tips worth.3. Slip solution… this is very important. Fill your little cup HALF WAY. thats all your gonna need maybe less. When you dip your brush into the solution it shouldn’t be dripping. Use a napkin and just dab it. When you go to "shape” it should feel almost "sticky” it shouldn’t be gliding across and there shouldn’t be slip solution dripping. So Slip Solution = just enough to have your brush wet but not dripping4. When you start shaping. make sure the "sides” of the nail are thin, and put the most in the middle so it should be thicker in the middle and thinner in the 3 sides of your nail5. When your spreading the gel out keep in mind you want to have a space between your cuticle and where your "gel” starts. like hairline thin. You want it to look natural so remember to really make sure the edges are a thin layer!6. when finally applying just blow on it for a good couple seconds to make sure there’s no "wet” slip solution cause then they’ll fall off or it will not cure right.7. When you put it on your finger and it’s in the right place just get your brush and brush (if any) any excess gel that may be around your nail bed. THEN clamp it with the nail clip. When you do this turn your finger around so that your looking at the BACK of your nail and make sure to PAT don’t spread it out PAT IT in place and make sure it’s nice and smooth. then Check your work one more time before curing.8. when you put your nail in the light to cure this is something i found really makes the nail look so good and stronger. Put it in for 10-12 seconds then pull it out. And pinch your nail (like in half) it gives it a nice natural look and it feels more durable, then put it back in to cure. These are just tips that may help someone hope it helps!
