Poor quality materials, skip and try another brand

I have a small carrier/box in this style that I use to take my cats to the vet and it's great but this brand just doesn't cut it out great for a lab/great mix of peers we just adopted so gave this one a try. I was very disappointed. I installed it in my living room before trying it with a pup and I'm glad I did. The mesh on the smaller carrier I have is thick and rubberized to prevent it from being ripped by claws. This net was thin and papery and stuck to the box. Likewise, the "oxford cloth"/nylon cloth is thin and doesn't appear to be waterproof - not bad for walls and ceiling, but a fabric of the same quality was used for the underside (which gummed on my other backing for convenience is). the cleaning). , not this one) and the seams are not sealed. So if something spills in, you'll have a nightmare trying to clean it up and a huge mess if, say, a water bowl is accidentally knocked over. The biggest problem is the zippers and the construction. My other carrier has good solid zippers that almost open and close. These zips were just a step up from what might have been on the packaging of a new duvet/bed in a set of bags. They are small, teeth slip/lick at times which means you have to close and re-close the section, but by far the worst part is that the top zip couldn't even close fully because the fabric was so tight. .Oh, and the included "bed" is also made from inferior synthetic fleece on top of one of the cheapest foams they could seem to find. Save yourself the hassle and choose another brand.
