This cap keeps the rain out as advertised. But it's a big size; marked as such. Please note that nowhere in the description does it say that this is an oversized hat. I wear a small to medium sized men's hat and had to use a hat size reducer. That means a few pieces of felt (in this case) to make the hat fit. I've found that the hat has less curl in the front when I lift the brim in the back. Enjoy that the rim is wide enough to ensure my glasses don't get wet. If you have a small head. This rain hat is not for you. Otherwise it's a good buy.
