Review on ๐Ÿถ Wooden Freestanding Pet Gate by PETMAKER - Folding Fence for Doorways, Halls, Stairs & Home - Step Over Divider - Ideal for Dogs & Puppies by Bradly Illu

Not the most stable but gets the job done!

So this was purchased to limit our corgi's mobility following surgery to repair his right cruciate ligament (bones shaved, metal bars and pins in place, you shouldn't leave more than 6ft of headroom off leash for an energetic dog to run around for 8th week during convalescence). collapse -12 weeks). It is enclosed by our sectional sofa, so we can use it to create less space. The Corgi in question is very bored, and while he can escape (he opens the gate regularly to show us), he doesn't want to either. The extra legs suggested to me upon viewing and purchased did NOT help, at least not with our oak hardwoods. We picked up a couple of stools as a "spare" for the gate, and I brought the extra wooden cross legs. Don't count on this actually containing an energetic or pushy pup. It is too mobile and light for that.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
