Review on 💧 24" X 1" FIP Stainless Steel Corrugated Water Flex Connector - Heavy Duty and Durable | Ideal for Water Heater and Water Softener by Cory Mosley

When I received the product I honestly felt that it was very well made. I ordered 3 of these for my water softener. After I connected all the hoses and turned the water on, one of the corrugated hoses leaked from the back (where the rubber should be in contact with the threads), it wasn't a very big leak, more like a slow drip. I put teflon tape on the threads to be safe and to stop the leakage I tightened the corrugated tubing on the receiver threads 1 inch more. Later I noticed it was still dripping so I tightened it even more and later noticed it stopped dripping. The fact is that the corrugated pipe is now super tight, and the other two that I made did not drip. So I think a tube was slightly defective. Considering I ordered 3, one of them had issues. That's why I give 3 stars. I don't feel like taking it off now and replacing it with another pipe because it's too much work at the moment. But I want all the tubes to be the same quality, that would be great.
