I can't believe how well this works. I have a $300 Cuisinart food processor that I have been using to process produce from our huge garden. It broke (again!) and based on the rave reviews I decided to take a chance with Presto. Wow what a great car. In fact, it cuts cleaner than the Cuisinart without the mess and mess of the Cuisinart. It lasts forever, is VERY easy to clean, and the extra parts are cheap and easy to order. I ordered extra shredder blades from Presto and then bought another pusher assembly off eBay so I can trade them in while one of these is in the dishwasher. This time of year, I'm processing 30-50 pounds of zucchini at a time, basically shredding them, two or three times a week, and this machine just won't stop. And even faster when I cut. I've also used it to get rid of a ton of cheese and it does it wonderfully, again way better than Cuisinart and with less waste and MUCH easier to clean. I love making salads for lunch, I can quickly chop and chop some veggies in the morning, and I can also just rinse and dry the croissants. I really love this shop!
