I had to return the first unit I ordered due to sporadic contact. I've since received a second one that looks similar. Not sure what it is but I can be near the car and try to unlock it and it won't happen the first time but if I press again. I come to the conclusion that there is only Taiwanese workmanship here. I think you have to press hard for it to work. I'll try again, but for $93 I won't wait long for the 8/2/19 update. Not satisfied with the intermittent operation of this product. I think maybe it's too late to go back. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a 1998 Corvette.
