I bought this shelving system piece by piece to use on my cargo trailer. I wanted a system that I could customize and that was light and strong at the same time. It has been in my trailer for over a year now and has endured the bumpy New York City streets and long off-road trips. It handles the loads I put on the shelves, even if I don't do it as carefully. They even withstand shelf loads, tethered and bouncing! These are really strong! I would recommend using at least one screw to secure the bottom of the vertical gimbals so they don't move when you use them in an application like mine. I know they are not intended for my use but you wouldn't guess that from the way they are handled! I get compliments from other people whose wearers are looking for something similar. Good product!
