I bought this product to replace the iVolver aluminum stand my roommate bought. This is exactly the same product except for the drawstring pouch they come in. This stand is strong yet lightweight. It feels flimsy but securely holds my 14 inch laptop. I also tried the stand with a Microsoft Surface Book. I was concerned that the heavy top screen would cause the stand to fall, but it was solid and stable. I use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse stand, my neck feels so much better! Laptop when it's on the stand. My Lenovo x1 Carbon has a protrusion that extends beyond the base, this shouldn't affect most laptops.
