These shoes are great for winter ice skating, they are fleece lined and run true to size. They come with extra laces, for a basic shoe they're pretty good. If you need shoes for skating in the summer, then this is definitely not the case. I bought size 8 and they fit perfectly. The rubber is of good quality and the leather is of very good quality, this is a good neutral shoe if you are hiking or just playing sports. They're not necessarily designed just for skateboarding. I also like to wear them when hiking. If you really love the elements and really like this color these are definitely for you, great value for money.
