I won't criticize cheap paint because it's a $15 exhaust tip with a built in resonator. And to my surprise, it actually changes the tone to a slightly deeper sound and only a decibel or two lower. I bought a $5 can of high heat black spray paint and applied two coats over the existing black paint. When it arrived I saw thin spots where it would probably break soon so I figured why not. I installed this on my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L V-6. I have a full K&N cold air intake system under the hood and two round Flo-Pro resonators/mufflers coming out of the header pipes and then coming out the back in a stack with no mufflers. It's a bit noisy so I started looking for solutions. Just adding that resonator exhaust tip really surprisingly helps. I'll probably add another short resonator somewhere between the Flo-Pro and this nozzle to lower it a bit, but yeah that cheap little exhaust tip isn't that bad! I say come on
