Better design makes it useful
I give it goodwill as it is only suitable for very small avocados or large pitted halves. Anyone who uses an avocado on a regular basis knows that the flesh is too soft to remove the pit from the unused half. So if the intact remaining half is to be preserved, there must be enough space in the dome to accommodate the core. Alternatively, you'll need to cut the remaining half in half (i.e. into four pieces) and then remove the seed - but why bother? This is not a design intent. The maker/designer of this "Guardian" needs to free up more space under the dome and then it can become a useful item. As it is, it's useless.
