I have a screen smaller than Hero 3+ and I've always had problems because I couldn't see what's on I shot. This screen basically solved that problem for a decent price. It fits my camera very well and the included case also fits perfectly (2 cases included). The only downside I have is that it's difficult to see the image on the screen under the sunlight while I'm recording a video, but it happens with almost every camera anyway. and a cell phone, so that's fine. Also take into account that additional batteries are required, which will probably last about 50% of the time without a screen.
