I bought these to replace a pair of Avia Lone Peak 4.5s I bought 3 years ago which are almost worn out. The new ones are just as comfortable and have some nice features - a longer tongue and laces with extra lace holes that my old ones didn't have. I now have to wear custom orthotics due to new foot problems and I was able to easily remove the insoles that came with the shoe and the custom insoles fit perfectly. They have all the good qualities of an old shoe (like a great sock) plus upgrades. I go hiking a lot and that fits perfectly.
