We actually bought it to prevent our baby from throwing his pacifier out of the cot. On this particular model (for cribs with a fixed front and back) they leave gaps at the ends. While this certainly helped with our dummy tossing problem, some still bridge the gaps. However, as our child got older, keeping his limbs in the cradle really helped. Once I had to wash one and her leg got stuck in the crib's slits. So since that is the main purpose of this article, it definitely works for that. It eventually creases from time to time and we have to push it back to keep it straight. All in all it was a good purchase and we would buy again.
