The only catch was creating a custom template that works with my printer. The free software that came with the Canon TS9 series I use (and probably many similar printers) didn't have a vinyl CDR template. Having established my own pattern, printing it gives you an idea of what to keep rather than "putting your drink on it". All discs recorded and played without errors. I don't know if they will last 100 years, but if they do it would be an acceptable bonus (I still give them 5 stars while I wait).
