mine works fine for nails and polish

My work is fine. I do 2 min. Timer 2 times for each shift. I don't know if that's necessary because I'm wearing this coat or the UV rays aren't very strong. I used this light with CND Shellac. STARTER WARNING: Your nails will feel sticky/tacky even when cured until you wipe the top coat off with alcohol. I didn't know this at first and thought the light was broken so I tried to permanently cure the paint. GEL POLISH REMOVER TIP: I bought a box of several sizes of rubber fingertips from the stationery section of a dollar store. Use instead of aluminum foil to remove gel polish from nails. That works great! I simply soaked some cotton pads in 100% acetone, applied to each nail and placed rubber tips on top to hold them in place. I prefer to use these than aluminum foil because they are faster and stick better. I can also use my hands while waiting for it to work. If a tip is too big, simply stuff in some more cotton for a snug fit. I prefer to use test tubes that you fill with acetone because I don't want to soak my entire fingertip in acetone.
