So I had to replace the light within 2 weeks of installation. After a quick look at the instructions, I was able to set the time with AM and PM. It was pretty easy to do. But after a few days you will notice a discoloration of the floating plants. The light is about 2 inches from the water surface and upon closer inspection I had to turn off the power. I did this with the expectation that after installation everything will be fine. No so fast. So the first thing I did every day was reduce the brightness to 40%. After doing this for a few days I thought damn it shouldn't be that hard. So I pulled out the instructions and lo and behold, there it was. Specific instructions for adjusting not only the power, but also the color temperature. I was like ah. The problem is that you can do it if you follow the instructions that tell you after you've done it. BUT. Power adjustment was never intended as an option. Light fixtures can meet the need as I can fully cover my aquascape but I will not accept that I cannot control the output and I don't want to fiddle with light fixtures multiple times a day. I can turn off the power for now, but as soon as I do that the auto time settings are triggered and NOW I have to switch the color to the moonlight setting. And it doesn't even turn off. So today I had to turn it off AGAIN, reset the timers and hope it gets fixed. If nothing is good again, I'll come back. Upgrade before upgrade. This is how I was able to find a way to get into performance adjustment mode. It seems as hard as trying to get to heaven. But I'm sure if someone instructed me it would be easy. I still don't quite understand that I canceled my return and will try to move it from 1 star to 3 because it's complicated. .
