First!Approx. I have more good things to say about this machine than bad things. It is very easy to connect and configure basic settings. The construction is strong! Built like a mini tank. Simple cable connections. Very easy. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the lack of a computer cable. Why advertise this feature and not provide one cable for access to all system functions? Additionally, the company has no web address or phone number. I found the email address on the company website after googling it. I hope I never need them. This controller handles my 560w system flawlessly. I take it to 840 watts. The device is labeled 100W higher than the advertised 800W. I will be purchasing two more in the near future for my 2200w standalone home system. With a voltage of 24 volts, its rated power is 1400 watts. The update took two months. The system works well. Manages the PV system very well. I take my batteries seriously and never let them go below 11.8 volts. The system switches from fill mode to swim mode as intended and charges the batteries until noon on sunny days. I'm still happy with the purchase. About 10 months? The charge controller keeps turning off! zero problems. I am buying a second unit to complete my 24v 2300w system. So far happy with the purchase.
