I've been buying these blankets since 2017. Now I have about 30 of them. We use them for beds and sofa beds. They used to be the best blankets. They were soft, thick enough but not too thick, warm but not too thick, and washed well. We've NEVER dried them and they've always retained their softness, unlike a lot of fleece that feels weird after a while no matter how carefully handled. I first noticed a difference when the fairing came off because I never remembered this happening before. Well, that's because they used to be cut themselves. And I never remembered them so smooth and soft. Which didn't really matter until I noticed my comforters were slipping off my bed. I didn't feel that warm either (before they slipped off). It wasn't until today, holding the old quilt and the new quilt in my hand, that I realized they had indeed changed their quilts. The old blanket is thicker (squeezed between thumb and forefinger and was "spongier"), heavier and softer, but not slippery soft. Now I have to go back and figure out exactly how many of these horrible newbies I need to get out of my B&B to save for my family! PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR OLD PERFECT BLANKS!
