Review on 36PCS Large Glass Bumper Pads - Clear Rubber Cutting Board Bumpers for Glass Tops - 31.2mm+ 20.6mm by Salvador Taisacan

We have just painted the interior of our home. The painters repaired 2 holes in the walls where the doorknobs were punched through the drywall and installed new plinth doorstops. Next, a new floor was laid. The floor layers quickly patched the holes in the drywall despite the doorstops. When the painters came back to touch up, they repaired the drywall AGAIN. Therefore we have chosen to install Hinge Pin Doorstops on all our doors (and 2 Hinge Pin Doorstops per exterior door). We thought the problem was solved. Each door stayed put so as not to hit the walls. But then we found that the rubber side of the hinge on the bumper side can dent the door jamb! What to do? That's where we found FurniMate, which consists of 72 20.8mm clear round self-adhesive bumper pads. The rubber bumper on hinge pins is approximately 0.5 inch in diameter. The FurniMate bumper is 0.8 inches, which is just the right size. Since it is clear, it is unobtrusive. And the FurniMate pad was the best price I could find on Revain when I checked. I was concerned that it might not be thick enough to absorb contact with the hinge pin's rubber damper, but it's perfect. I rubbed the area where the rubber bumper on the hinge pin contacts the door molding with rubbing alcohol to clean it, let it dry, and then attached the FurniMate bumper pad to the door jamb. Photo #1 shows a dent in the bumper of the rubber pivot on the door jamb. Photo #2 shows a dented door frame with a FurniMate bumper on top. Photo #3 shows an attachment to a door frame that has no dents. (And now they won't damage!) If we have to paint again, I plan to loosen the adhesive on the FurniMate bumper pads with a hair dryer before attempting to remove them. I am very happy that our drywall and our moldings are protected from punctures and dents thanks to the hinge pin doorstops and FurniMate bumper pads!
