These waterproof boots were purchased months ago and it is a shame that I have not to leave a single comment for this seller or sellers until now. I am a strong self conscious critic regarding what I wear and how I look 'in' what I wear. I am certain this review will help the prospective purchaser. These boots 'are' waterproof, keep my feet warm and snug (assuming the right size is worm of course). The boots are not overly heavy (you should be able to run in these with ease) and are very durable (tough as aforementioned). The traction is stable in muddy terrain and I have experienced zero leak through under heavy rain fall. The boot string design is flawlessly adjustable and the overall design of the boots were well though out as I am reminded of this every time I slip my feet into them to experience the snug comfort within. Now on the appeal of the boot there is this very convenient side zipper that is as durable as the boots themselves and is a quality zipper that zips with ease and without fail. Further appeal is that these boots can be used in urban step dance competitions in stylistic fashion or of course in tactical operations not excluding trail and other general uses. The boots can be worn as show boots to a club or other outing in my opinion with some nice matching fashion attire since the design is so well constructed. After months of wearing these boots there is no breakage in the fabric or creases of breakage from bending as results of walking, running or crouching. The perfect soles do not appear to wear uneven as they are quality. The listing on Ebay state Kingshow but the label on the box and boots state Yankee Trail; however, do not let the name fool you. These boots are wroth every pretty penny and I am planning on buying another pair for general outings to clubs, etc. since the one pair I have now are for work and still look great. A note to add is that you can cure these boots easily if purchasing the black pair and some black dye if you damage them by way of scuffs against other color material or drop paint on them, etc. The entirety of these boots are black inside and out except the white label behind the tongue. Lastly, these boots DO NOT HAVE METAL PLATES INSTALLED IN THEM; however, it could be a good pitch to the designers for an already perfect pair of boots. There is so much more to state about these boots and this post is based on my experience and on how well I take care of my stuff. The photos above are the accurate color and detail of the boots, the only photo I have not taken is of the inside which is all black, the inserts of the boots which are standard comfort level and you can purchase gelled foot pads for an even more comfortable experience.
