After some time with this case I should warn people NOT to put a hard drive in it, a solid would be fine but this box lacks the safety features that most laptops have if the drive fails. to avoid damage when moving the laptop. This caddy doesn't have this feature, I ruined a hard drive with it before noticing the problem; When your laptop is moved, the hard drive needs to be turned off so that the hand reading data from the platters doesn't actually touch the platters. When this happens it corrupts the drive, it can (and for me) corrupt the hard drive. Original Review: Aside from these minor quirks, installation was easy and the product works as intended and expected. a screwdriver that came in handy when screwing the hard drive into the caddy. I removed the bracket from my old DVD drive and used it for a better fit on the case, otherwise the drive on my T540p is kind of sunken into the case. There's a small blue LED on the side that should indicate hard drive access, but it doesn't go out while my laptop is running, so I just taped the lens of the LED.
