I bought it for a high end Lenovo W540 which comes with a professional graphics card, 32GB RAM and an i7-4800MQ processor. CPU. The old drive and this item were very easy to remove and replace. I need to adjust the screw to make the drive case fit more evenly. My only complaint is that the blue hard drive activity light is protruding from the case. I wish it was a little recessed so my finger wouldn't get caught in it. But other than that, it works like a charm and the read/write speeds are what my particular SSD is designed for.

I have a T540p installed on my laptop and it has been working great for about 2 months now. No complaints, works as it should. It looks a little "dented" inside the laptop, upon closer inspection you might notice that it isn't "original" but it doesn't really matter that much in my opinion. I do feel my laptop is a bit warmer on this side, but that's obviously because I have a regular hard drive installed. The blue LED is a bit too bright for my liking, but nothing a black marker can't handle.

2nd this nimits brand container i bought and both fit perfectly. - I was trying to save money and bought one of the really cheap generic ones and it didn't fit, then I got this brand again and it fitted my T440P perfectly. Great product, go for Nimitz!

Works great but can you believe the LED was dangerous? It was slightly protruding and had very sharp edges. I can easily imagine someone getting a small cut while working on a laptop so I had to use a simulation file to fix that but other than that everything works great in the W540. The disk does not have to be ultra-thin. A regular 2.5" SATA hard drive will fit and slot in just as well as an ultra-thin or SSD.

The product was wrapped in plastic so you don't lose a couple of fingers when opening it, which I'm really pleased about.
