Oversized, the hole is too small for the head.
I am size 2T and the shirt itself is too big and the head hole is too small. I was going to use it at my daughter's birthday party but I can't in good conscience get her to wear it again because it was difficult to get on and off. I don't mean just a little difficult. I mean, getting almost stuck on your head is difficult. I cannot recommend this product.
