I bought this case for the noise cancellation, flexibility and optical drive bay. I have successfully followed the steps to invert the motherboard. I installed an AIO CPU front water cooler, a 1600W PSU, a large threaded board and 2 GPUs (planning to add more at the moment). I installed 2 hard drives in the bottom dual hard drive tray next to the power supply. Great so far. It was pretty easy for me to reverse using the online video provided by bequiet and some other guides. Management is terrible so video guides are recommended. I (like most others) have encountered problems with screws getting stuck in a slot where they are extremely difficult to remove. I would recommend Bequiet to fix this in future releases. Main Complaints/Annoyances: * The design doesn't allow for the use of switches and plugs on a dedicated power source. Instead, the power supply must be plugged back into the case and connected to the case's own switch via an additional internal power cable. This was done to simplify the design of the inverted layout, but another solution would be preferred. First, I don't like adding that extra weird internal cable. More importantly, this cable is not intended for use with high power supplies. My PSU (Corsair 1600W) has a different connector that is incompatible with the one in the case. My only options were 1) return the PSU, 2) return the case, 3) remove the grille on the back of the case and use the power button hidden inside the case and settle for a big "hole" in the case admit. the back of the case without the power cover. I chose #3 for simplicity, but it's annoying. Recommendations: a) bequiet should produce a bypass mesh component for users like me, and b) I don't recommend buying this case if you need a large power supply (e.g. for deep learning with many GPUs). the be quiet logo on the side panel and the side ventilation are not convincing; one broke on first touch. However, Bequiet sent me a replacement, so kudos to them for their customer support! Most of the case feels solid, but some of the plastic protrusions are problematic.* The tempered glass panel is difficult to insert/remove compared to other cases. It's too easy to drop as it's only supported by thumbscrews rather than a rail on the underside. Be careful!* One of the front I/O ports was not connected to the case board when shipped, which was confusing. Also, the I/O cables connected to the board aren't labeled, so I was afraid of mixing them up. I later learned (at the end of the Bequiet case flip video) that all the connectors are keyed differently to avoid mistakes, but the manual doesn't mention this, so I spent the time making my own labels for each cable . As I said above, the manual is terrible (little information and very bad diagrams). * Reversed layout: The few steps involved with the back grille and connecting the power supply make it very easy to lose the screws even if you are careful. It's hard to describe, but even when I was aware of the danger, I kept getting into trouble. This can probably be fixed by adding a hole somewhere in the long rail to allow the screw to slide out. In fact, this screw will remain stuck until you find very small tools/tweezers/etc to curl the screw back. the use of microscopic surgical instruments is recommended.* Front heatsink and optical drive bay. The front mount is not as flexible as I had hoped. I thought there would only be room for my 360 heatsink plus an optical drive bay, but the heatsink mounts are taller than I expected. In the end I declined and temporarily removed the optical drive bay until I could downgrade to a smaller wheel or build something else. Unfortunately if one wants to use the optical drive bay I would recommend the 240 max, honestly there should be room for at least one of the two plus 360 optical drives but I couldn't get there room to install two drives though is needed instead of one. The routing side should have been a bit deeper, with such a large case I expect a little more breathing room with the cable routing. Instead, the cables are very easy to push against the alternative ventilation area of the side panel and push the panel out from the inside! Overall I still like the case but it's not as good as I expected after all the rave reviews/awards. Much more room for improvement. Maybe Dark Base Pro 900 Rev 3?
