I was looking for pearls that didn't look cheap, fake or ridiculous... it was a little harder to come by online. I also wanted them to be free of obvious holes, defects, or a lot of different sizes (laughs, I'm a bit special). So I took a chance and went with them and I was not disappointed. I almost wish I had received two packages for the project I was working on. But it worked and they added a great touch to my small display. I'd say if you're doing something that has people looking at them all the time, they obviously don't look real...but if people aren't checking them out, that's a great option. i love the color too
