Review on 🏃 New Balance Women's Athletic Running Shoes in Marblehead by Kurt Ferguson

I originally ordered a half size up based on reviews but ended up going back to my true size of 6.5 wide. I had no trouble putting them on as instructed. I wore them for a 3 mile walk today and loved them, although I need higher socks because they dig into my ankles towards the end of my walk. Which is typical for me with almost every hiking shoe. I plan on trying them out for hiking soon, but I'm not sure they'll help me enough. I usually wear boots for ankle support when hiking, but wanted to try something lighter. *UPDATE* Put them on for a pretty easy hike and absolutely sucked! My foot slipped in the boot, I couldn't tighten it, my socks curled up on my toes from slipping in the shoes and I had to stop and re-tap the back of my heels twice in up to 3 miles. Rating downgraded from 4 to 2 stars. They are good for nothing but the occasional walk.
