For those who don't know, these are water balloons. You put very small balls in water and they expand and when they get dehydrated they shrink. I bought these for transplanting bamboo, they are very good for bamboo because you can see when you need to add more water by the bulbs shrinking. . These beads appear to be of good quality. However, be careful and take your time adding them. The pack says they fully grow in 2 hours but mine kept growing and overflowing my vase overnight. They seem to keep growing for 8-12 hours. In general, this is a very good value.
