Update 2: I was intrigued by the new version with a little green rubber band that secures the collar if it gets caught anywhere and breaks, and i decided to try it out. My cats are indoors so their collars don't actually get lost around the apartment, but I see this as a useful feature for outdoor cats where it's important for their collar to open but stay on theirs even if the collar breaks neck is triggered so that the identification mark (tag) still remains with them. This type of collar also had to be put on by slipping it over my cat's head, which actually turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. Basically, all you have to do is make sure you position it in the right direction and then "hook" it first above and below the cat's chin, and then pull the other side over the ears and down the neck. Everything went very smoothly. Just make sure you measure the length of the new collar first so it matches the old collar. Then wear it! Bonus - this design makes it look like my cat is wearing a tiny tie and I love to 😍 attach some pictures! Overall I love this cool new idea and am just as happy with my previous NaviTagi collars (my other cat still wears the original and it's in great condition!). Update: It's been almost 2 months and the collars are still in use. Very good condition. They sit securely on cats' necks while not irritating their skin/fur. Photos are attached. Initial Review I liked the idea of the collar without the metal ring when I saw it here and was curious how it would look and feel. Below are some of the things I observed: Light Colors: My cats don't go out so I don't usually go for very light colors and I was a little skeptical about those colors when ordering this item. When the collar package arrived I put the collars on my two cats and was amazed at how they looked! The colors are rendered so well! They can be seen from a distance and from different angles. I think this would be ideal for cats that also spend some time outside - it's easy to spot the collar AND the tag. The cats seem comfortable: our cats usually hate this process and immediately try to remove the new collar and scratch it. . With that, they surprisingly just got back to their cat business (walking around, trying to destroy plants, etc.) and didn't even touch the collars, which I thought meant they should be pretty comfortable with that. One ID number for my 2 cats: I also love that I can attach these 2 cats and only have 1 ID number to register - very handy! Registration, as with other NaviTagi products, is very quick and easy - just add your (+spouse/friend number if required) phone number and that's it - the ID is registered to you! , since there is no metal ring. The tags appear to be secure around the cat's neck and do not ring or move. One of our cats is very active and keeps losing her collar from clinging to things. This one has the tag much closer to the body and doesn't move/cling to things at all. And one of the advantages is that there is no ringing/ringing noise on the shells, floor etc. Pretty cool!
