The device worked very well. It improved my dad's hearing of conversations significantly. He has bilateral moderately severe hearing loss. Maybe a high-end device would do more for him, but he is happy with this and I only have to speak up, no longer make a big effort to speak very loudly. Great value for the price. The noise reduction/cancellation feature causes a background static sound for him when set above the lowest level, so he does not use it at the higher levels. We bought a pair of the devices; the second one sent to us had been returned to the ebay warehouse by a previous buyer and should not have been sent to another customer (us). It had no shrink-wrap and we could see the package had been opened and resealed. Fortunately, Banglijian routinely sends a cautionary email warning customers to contact them if the package is not shrink-wrapped. We think the ebay warehouse personnel thought that returns could simple be sent to the next customer in line.So we tried to contact Banglijian via the ebay Marketplace email. (It is f6m5pp2h1b88psd@marketplace.amazon.com). Unfortunately, none of our emails got through. So the lesson is: if you need to get service after the sale, the contact is: BanglijianServices@hotmail.com. They took good care of us. Kaven emailed us a pre-paid mailing label to return the opened package, and sent us a replacement hearing device, properly shrink-wrapped. We had read of some problems with some devices not holding a charge, but so far that has not happened to us. It has been a month.
