Despite the negative reviews, I ordered this small fan for air circulation in the bedroom. My apartment is on the top floor of my house, so it gets quite hot in the summer as there is only air conditioning in the living room. I wasn't expecting the fan to be very powerful, just powerful enough to circulate some cool air to keep my bedroom cool. Let me tell you, it works great! I have a fan in front of my bed where it captures the cool air blowing in from the hallway and circulates it throughout my small to medium sized bedroom (picture included for reference). I can feel air blowing 6-10 feet from the fan at low and high speeds. It's a light breeze but does wonders to keep me cool at night. At low speeds there is almost no noise. At high speed I hardly hear it. The light is beautiful too; You can also turn off the light at night while the fan is running if like me you can't sleep with the light on in your bedroom. In addition, the power/speed button and the backlight button are activated with a very light touch. You do NOT have to click them or they won't work (I tested this myself). If you are looking for a powerful air circulator, this fan is not for you. This fan is a personal fan and is designed for home use (e.g. on the desk during work) and for small spaces. I would only recommend it if you have reasonable expectations of what you are buying. If anything goes wrong with this fan I will definitely update this review. And just so everyone knows, I paid for this fan myself and received no compensation whatsoever for this review. I like to leave honest reviews so consumers like me know what they're going to buy.
