After four days without power in Texas we decided to invest in this emergency crank radio. Pros: 1. Although not the most important feature, this little thing is really cute. I love red and this is a good red.2. The flashlight is really bright.3. For a small thing it has very good sound quality. I wouldn't hear it all the time, but it's fine in an emergency.4. I love the fact that it can be rotated manually or charged via USB, making it very versatile. It can charge a tablet or phone in a pinch, but I wouldn't use it as a main source even if the power goes out.6. When charging via USB, it lasts about 12 hours, which is very cool. When cranked manually, it doesn't hold a charge very long.7. You can receive NOAA/Am/FM stations on the radio.8. The volume can be quite loud for those with hearing problems. Cons: 1. My main gripe with this is that there is no way to see how much charge this thing has. I don't think asking for a little light that shows color when fully charged is asking too much. Overall this little radio is excellent value for money and I recommend it with the caveat that you'll never know when this thing will be fully charged.
