That's what my wife said. I love anything that looks vintage from the 40's and 50's. I wanted a dress for my husband's Christmas party at work. After reading the reviews I decided to buy a size up. I usually wear a size 14-16, but I'm also used to ordering a size up for dresses as busty as me (40 DDD) with broad shoulders. I'm only 5ft 5in and thought I'd have to hem it once I got it. Not wanting to risk falling out or showing too much for the function, I went up a size. I ordered 2X and it was crumpled in the front and a little loose in the middle (no stretch). On the advice of a previous customer, I cut off the bartack threads on the chest. Looks great! sleeves, but not so much that it's noticeable and not so much where the shoulders don't match. I believe if I get the best pull on bra and tutu I ordered it will look really good. I don't think I'll have to hem it but we'll see when I have the skirt. The material is very stretchy, so it's very forgiving. It stretches an additional 3-4 inches for me, so I may order a smaller size in a different color just to compare looks.
