The first thing that struck me was how well the item was packaged. Not stunning. Next I saw the USB cable. definitely not skinny. The block itself is housed in a metal case, just the right size, with an intuitive button layout. Easy to use. I might have wished for a larger display, but I'm not sure how that could have been achieved. When I'm recording, the red light comes on, so you can be sure I've started recording. Don't forget to press stop, otherwise you'll just keep going and risk losing what you were trying to write down. Not saved unless you press stop. It has a built in speaker and sounds good for what it is. Much more could be said, but for the sake of brevity I'll end by saying: Don't try to write from your pocket - it won't work so well.
