I ordered this because it was one of the few towel rails that other reviewers said was big enough to hold an actual towel keep. Hold a 27 inch towel folded over the bar, but just barely. The bottom of the towel will lightly touch the surface wherever the stand is. The stand arrived with a dent in one of the arms that looks like it was made during production. It was pretty securely wrapped in bubble wrap so I highly doubt it happened during shipping. I think the status would be good if those were the only two questions. I'm not crazy about the dent, but I can live with it. I can also fold the towel so it doesn't touch the surface under the stand. The third and most annoying problem is that the stand shakes a lot during use. I've attached a video to show how it wobbles when you try to dry your hands with a towel hanging from the counter. It may look like I'm shaking the bar, but I'm literally mimicking the movement as I wipe my hands. As you notice, the back of the towel never moves like I'm pulling or jerking the towel sharply. The stand also makes an annoying clicking noise when rocking. It's one of the few shelves I've found that's big enough to hold a 27-inch towel, so we'll leave it at that for now, but the wobbling is annoying enough for me to look for better options. If I find something better, it will probably be moved to the least used bathroom in our house.
