After spending most of the day trying to get this thing to work I give up and it comes back. Background: I have a Brother QL-570 printer but I wanted something wireless to keep it in stock. I used DK-2205 labels which should be compatible with this printer. They work great in the QL-570. In any case, after tweaking everything and adjusting the settings in Windows to match the label roll I was using, I kept getting the wrong roll size error. I called Brother Technical Support and they got me to adjust the layout in their P Touch program, which I was eventually able to get working, but that didn't fix the problem - the printer doesn't work in any other Windows program correct. . After you then get an error about the wrong roll size, Windows decides that the printer is out of paper, so you have to uninstall and reinstall the printer each time. This is very frustrating and Brother tech support was useless. I was told that they cannot provide support for other programs. That's a cop. This is a PRINTER, it should work based on Windows settings. Who buys a printer just to use it with the manufacturer's proprietary software? I would love to be able to do what this printer is supposed to do, but unfortunately it just doesn't work.
