Review on Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Fixed Lens - Discontinued by Manufacturer by Seo Jun ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

I took it as a beginner in the world of "DSLRs", instead of a "whale" lens. At first I wanted to take a cheap "telephoto", but I tried this lens in this price range (up to 5 thousand). The quality seemed amazing. It is clear that it is best suited for portrait photography, now I understand what "bokeh" is, and what it is when the lens "paints". Photography is a creative work, and as an artist, the quality of brushes and paints is important here. So, this brush (this is a lens) is very good for creativity. But this is a portrait lens, not very suitable for landscapes.

Pros
  • Low price with good quality. The rest is in the comments.
Cons
  • There are misses with autofocus, but here it is better to work with manual focus. After the "zoom" it's hard to get used to the fact that you need to frame the subject "with your feet", moving away or approaching it.
