In cold weather it is impossible to force the product out of the tube. I have to keep this in my bar to ensure it stays warm and even then I have to massage the tube to mix the gloss with the color. Also why is the part that touches your lip not a smooth application tip? I wanted to love this for the color, but everything is wrong about this product. Wouldn't recommend

The first thing I'll note is that you really do need to squeeze the tube to mix up the color before applying. I made the mistake of not doing that and was confused why there was no color! After working it in between my hands for a good minute, I was able to squeeze the tube and get the full color. It's a gorgeous color and smells like a cherry dream but that flavor was terrible! I love a lot of ELF products, so when this appeared in my product suggestions here on Revain, I thought I'd give it a try. I purchased Grapefruit. It smells wonderful, the color is lovely - a sheer fuchsia - and it feels great on my lips. It says that it's a balm, but it's definitely a gloss. It's not sticky and it wears pretty well for a gloss, but it needs to be reapplied after eating or drinking. This product is very moisturizing and sits nicely on top of other products. I would definitely say the consistency is more of a thick gloss than a balm, but it’s not sticky.

Taste like soap. Pretty color and nice moisturizing feel however the scent and taste is more like an old Floral soap. May not provide enough volume or plumpness to lips!

I found that if I soak the tube in a glass of very hot water for less than a minute, the balm can be squeezed out with no problem! It really has helped my lips to not be chapped and dry. Dee Mulford

It just wouldn’t mold to my lips the right way. I can do it with a brush. I put clear gloss and mix it with the balm. But that is just too long to do. And I can’t do a touch up because I am not carrying all that in my purse.

I bought another tube so I wouldn't be left with none because I absolutely loved it. The berry adds a nice color to your lips, you can wear it day or night. The tube does need to be warmed by your hands before using, especially if you keep it in your car like I do.

You only need the tiniest amount of this to spread on your lips. If you use too much it feels like you’ve coated your lips in a mix of Vaseline and glue. It does a great job moisturizing though

This is a lip balm, not gloss, and it has an attractive tint. It feels good--protective and moisturizing--plus the bit of added color. Looks and feels good--and I like that it's vegan and cruelty free.

I don't really care for super glossy lip products.and unfortunately, that's exactly what this is. I expected this to impart a bit of color, but I don't see any. This is really odd and maybe I got a defective tube. Here is what I have observed:1. This comes nicely sealed, but once the seal is removed, the user needs to squeeze the tube a little hard to get a thick, (thicker than Vaseline, I believe) bit of this product to come out.2. There is no applicator so you will either squeeze it onto your finger or lips and rub in from there.3. The scent and flavor are not great, but I do not like cherry, so that could just be me.4. This has easily become a new favorite. The color is spot on for what's displayed and what I was looking for. It can be used on it's own or combined with other lipsticks or glosses. The fragrance is amazing! Moisturizes really well and lasts all day.

This product is a beautiful color, but I discovered after the first use that it’s easiest to use after keeping it in my pocket, which warms it up and mixes everything. I don’t usually wear anything with much color, so I only need a little, so I noticed a subtle taste. The applicator is more of a lotion one, so it does feel a little less comfy than some of the angled soft applicators.

The twist cap was half off when it came and when I opened it all the way, the silver seal had been broken and was just laying on top. The top of the tube had smear marks on it, clearly indicating it had touched someone’s lips before. Absolutely disgusting!

This is slightly separated in the tube and recombining the ingredients was impossible, even when using a lip brush and trying very hard. The color is nice, if you can get it on neatly.But my goodness, this stuff smells and tastes medicinal and off. It’s plain gross. Not cherry at all, nor sweet. Tasted like chemicals.

I love these so.much I wanna give a bad review so no one buys them. But I can't there are my favorite thing for my lips and I buy all 3 kinds are amazing

This is a really moisturising balm. When it first came out it was clear but then as I squeezed more, the colour balm appeared. It’s a subtle wash of dark cherry colour, almost a burgundy. The scent isn’t my favourite but it will be a staple for the winter months. Very happy.

I like this lip balm but it’s not a love for me! It’s a nice tinted, almost wine red color and does moisturize pretty well. The color compliments my skin tone. But it wore off after an hour or so and left the dreaded white residue. There’s also a smell to this scent that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. I didn’t prefer that smell on my lips.
