Review on Sametop Chest Mount Harness Chesty Strap for GoPro Hero 9 Black, 8 Black, Hero 7 Black/Silver/White, Hero 6/5/4, Session, 3+, 3, 2, 1, Hero (2018), Fusion, DJI Osmo Action Cameras by Carl Higdem

So I had high hopes for this harness. It was really good value and it looks solid, according to reviews it's pretty decent. But I can only give two stars. Why? Well, it creates SO much noise in my videos because the clip that goes into the gimbal (which you attach your GoPro to) moves when it's attached. I've never felt the camera to be unreliable so I don't think they ever fall off/break off or anything like that, but since the clip has wiggle room any movement really causes the camera to move a bit. While it doesn't really affect the video that much, the audio of a clip moving in the gimbal is very, very loud on the GoPro's recorded audio. Basically, if you don't want to mute your clips (i.e. put music, voice-over, or whatever over the clip instead), the clips are pretty much unviewable unless you mute them. It's such an annoying noise. If it weren't so bad I could have gotten 3 stars because the suspension fits well and looks good overall. I think it will last well enough. But I have to find a way to disable the clip or I'll never use it. I'll probably try putting the tape in the clip and see what happens. Good product, great price, marred by a small issue that is actually a big issue. Very bad. (Update) The seller contacted us about a problem with a loose clamp. They offered to replace it for free which was great. I suspected the problem was production related and as soon as I received a replacement my fears were confirmed. The replacement has the same loose clip. I'll promote my idea of trying to use tape to take up space at the clip's attachment point to reduce/remove the noise made when playing sound during movement. The seller was great in all of this so I gave it a 5 star rating. However, since the replacement suspension has the same problem as the first one, I can only give my rating 2 stars. Overall, the suspension is still well made, but the clip lets it down badly. However, I will update it after I write it down and try again.
