My main soldering station is an iron and air gun combo, so I'm ready for almost any job. I do a bit of surface mount, so I like to have an extra iron-only station for non-essential spots where I just need to solder a circuit board or wire harness. The iron works great and heats up quickly. good adjustability. I am very happy with it.
