Review on Omix Ada 17424 05 Oil Dip Stick by Justin Hill

When I bought mine there weren't many reviews and the quality was mixed. First let me say that it does the job. It has the standard 2 holes in the dipstick marked "Refill" and "Full". It would be nice if it had inscriptions on it, like on the original. But if you're used to checking your oil, you know what the two marks mean. The handle is plastic, NOT metal. Based on the picture it looks like you will get a probe with a metal handle which is what I was hoping for as it was a replacement for a probe where the original plastic handle broke off and the rest of the probe had fallen deep into the probe was pipe. . I had to pull out the whole hose to get the old one out. The handle is also made of plastic. Feels as strong as the original. And he will definitely get the job done. I only wish they showed a picture of the plastic pen or reported in the description. But it does what it should and now I can test my oil again.
