My eight year old is very thin, blessed with his father's metabolism and his missing back. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find pants that are long and skinny enough to fit, especially with his recent complaint that the adjustable waist buttons are causing him pain (although I think this has more to do with the folded elastic, rather not with the button itself . . ). I actually ordered these pants for his Halloween costume (link from The Legend of Zelda) and when we tried them on something shocking happened. they fit perfectly with no waist adjustment and are the right length too!
