I have been doing gel nails at home for more than 10 years. This cat eye kit (plus base and top coat) is the easiest to use and the best top coat brand I've tried, and I've tried many branded gel polishes (OPI, Gelaze, Gelish, Fingerpaints). For example, on all of these well-known brands, the polish would "move away" from the tips, even when I primed them properly. Don't miss! I got full peak coverage with no issues. I used green first and only had to apply ONE coat for full coverage and used a magnet to create the cat eye effect. It was easy! I will be more adventurous when it comes to layering colors and tilting the magnet, but it was so easy the first time. (It's not well photographed, but it looks really cool in real life. Even my teenage daughter was impressed.) For reference, I'm using an LED lamp that cures in 45 seconds. Gellen did a great job back then. I highly recommend this line and will be ordering more.
