Me and my boyfriend love wooden toys and the Montessori method. They were exactly what we were looking for and our 4 month old loves them! He particularly likes a rattle in the shape of a bear with a small white bell. He holds it, shakes it and tries to put it in his mouth! Two things, the handle on the rattle was a bit serrated but luckily the toys come with sandpaper as the wood is defective. Also, watch out for a small hedgehog teether, the beads are wrapped with crochet thread and the thread has come loose. There are only two things to consider when purchasing this set. I still recommend the set, my son loves it!
