Update: I received an email from MillSO customer service the day after my first review. They said the factory was made aware of the problem and increased the length of the "split" section to fully accommodate both cables. I'll update the review when I see how the new part looks. Stay tuned! Original Rating: [Protection revealed, I doubt how long it will last.] Aside from one issue I have with this product, it appears to be a very well built device. The cables are thick but flexible, and the male and female ends feel well built. The female ends have a good positive feel when inserting the earphones. I have a problem with the rubber part where the "split" occurs. The "seam" on product photos is a separate piece that slides the "female" cables up and down, presumably to bring the two ends closer together (a common feature of headphones). However, the movement of the sliding part shows that the two socket cables are not fully inserted into the "split" part. The shielding can be seen in the attached photo. I'll probably use some glue to attach the sliding part to the "split" part and attach the female cables in the sliding part. I doubt how long this splitter will last without some modifications to better attach the two female cables to the rubber "split" part. Also, I haven't used this device with microphones yet, but it seems to disconnect audio as expected.
