I couldn't afford to add recessed lights (cost was over $5000 for 4) so I gave this product a try. I didn't want to screw anything to the ceiling, so I took another reviewer's advice and attached command bars to them (they're heavy because of the batteries, so you'll need to add a few poles to each). So far, so good. You can change the dimming of the light which is great and matches my fixed lights. Although each of them comes with a remote control, 1 remote works with all of them which is great. I am happy with this purchase. Adds a good amount of light
