I bought this lamp to replace a battery operated lamp I installed in my pantry a few years ago. It's way better than what I had before. It's super bright and easy to install. To save energy, I disabled the motion sensor and just use the switch on the remote control, which I velcroed to my pantry wall.

Perfect for my dark shower. I have a small shower with a thick dark gray shower curtain that lets in very little light. The lighting color options are great. no light switch. You must use the remote control. The remote control works fine, but I have to fear that it will be lost. I would buy again.

I ordered 2 of these lights to use in my living room and mount to an 8 foot ceiling. One of the remotes doesn't work, but the other remote works with both, so it's fine. These lights are very bright and not dimmable. You can adjust the color temperature between cool and warm light, but it doesn't actually dim. I will use them elsewhere because the glare from the LEDs is too bright for a living room watching TV. I had to squint to watch TV and my eyes hurt. So all in all a super bright light but

I thought mine was broken. The motion detector indicator flashed, indicating that motion detection was on, but the light would not come on. I re-read the little manual inside the remote control and it says "MOTION DETECTION WILL NOT WORK WHEN IT IS LIGHT". So if you want to use motion detection in the shower, you'll need to turn off the bathroom light for this to work. The Revain list does not show this important point. money thrown away. My husband and I recently moved into our apartment and found that there was no overhead lighting in either the master or guest room. Which prompted us to buy two of these.
