I thought mine was broken. The motion detector indicator flashed, indicating that motion detection was on, but the light would not come on. I re-read the little manual inside the remote control and it says "MOTION DETECTION WILL NOT WORK WHEN IT IS LIGHT". So if you want to use motion detection in the shower, you'll need to turn off the bathroom light for this to work. The Revain list does not show this important point. money thrown away. I contacted Revain to see if I could return it even though the packaging is no longer available BUT it will leave 2 mounting holes in my shower. A scam/useless product in my opinion
